Dragonfly


The adult dragonfly can propel itself in six directions: upward, downward, forward, backward, to left and to right. The large dragonflies have a maximum speed of 36–54 km/h. Old and unreliable claims are made that dragonflies such as the southern giant darner can fly up to 97 km/h (60 mph).

Haiyantang or Haiyan Hall at Sunset, Beijing, China


The Haiyantang or Haiyan Hall was the largest garden sight in the Xilanglou Area. It was built in 1759 (the 24th year of the reign of Emperor Qianlong).
